Very disappointed, on the second use I tried out one of the brush attachments and noticed it getting very hot. Steam had started to come of the handle. Going back to the floor mop, the same problem was apparent and the unit was unusable without burning yourself. After failing to find a website for Quest I contacted Amazon customer services, and they gave me a phone number which turned out to be a recorded message for a non existent company. To be fair, Amazon refunded my payment very quickly From a quick look at the unit, I would say the problem is due to the use of a flimsy silicon washer to seal the joins in the unit, these tear very easily

5Works a treat!

I have used it to do all my floors and to steam clean my bathroom. We just moved into our house and are still trying to remove the previous owners ground in dirt on the tub and this did a great job where bleach and scrubbers failed. My only complaint is I used it on my quarry tile floor in the kitchen and it looks beautiful but, because the tile is so rough, it totally shredded one of the cloths, good thing I ordered extras! I have ordered some coral pads to use on that floor so hopefully they will hold up better. I've used the steamer on linoleum, glazed tile, laminate and quarry tile and it worked great on all.

1Not impressed

I expected better. I used the steam cleaner fresh out of the box on the grout on my shower tiles hoping to remove some mildew (after reading the instructions). All I can say is DON'T BELIEVE THE ADVERTS ON TV. The mildew does not budge at all regardless of how much steam you put into it!! I attached the bristle brush thinking it just needed a bit of agitation. The bristles on the brush seem to melt under the heat of the steam - the brush us useless!
Rather than just write the steamer off, I tried it on the kitchen sink, which is stainless steel. Again - unsatisfactory results. The sink isn't dirty or grimy, but the steam left horrible water marks which needed buffing off with a cleaner. Completely defeated the point of steam cleaning the sink in the first place.
Final test - the kitchen floor. The floor is linonium, so should work fine... I attached the floor cleaning head and microfiber cloth. The steamer certainly does not glide and takes more effort to push that I expected. The microfiber cloth keeps comming off as you push the cleaner away from you and you have to let it cool down before you can reattach it. I have tried really tightenning the cord, but no luck - the thing keeps comming off. I tried the second cleaning cloth incase it is a manufacturing fault with the cloth i.e.size issue. Again the thing keeps comming off!
The cloth seemed dirty after finally finishing the floor so I guess muck was removed, but once the cloth is dirty, you just keep spreading hot muck around the floor. I'm not sure if I'll be using it again.
I wish I had saved my money and bought a couple of bottles of mildew remover from the super market instead.
Delivery was good though.
