Should Have Bought Sooner! Upright and Handheld Steam Cleaner

Very pleased with this. No more sloshing around with water! It really works well without detergent as I wanted to avoid chemicals and good results without using them, the steam sterilizers so I don't know why you would want to unless you really like artificial scents.

5.0 out of 5 stars Read instructions for those who moan By Matthew  Excellent - makes short work of my kitchen floor. All those people moaning about it leaving the floor wetter than a mop need to read the instructions. You do not need to constantly leave your finger on the steam trigger, just leave the steam develop then leave go until you need more steam. No wonder people wreck there flooring with it!

wouldn't be without it. ByJodi on  I'm in love with my steam mop. I was unsure when I first bought it if it would be a waster of money but it's so easy to use, I use it every day. The floors are always clean and it takes me minutes. I wouldn't be without it now.

Not user friendly Bypinetreeon I have two other steam mops but this one does not seem to deep penetrate into the surface to lift the dirt. Also found as one other review said that it's s a complete nightmare to detach the head changes the white clip is not easy at all to press and even worse if you suffer from arthritis like myself. I think the supplier should also be more generous with the micro mats one is not enough.

Disappointed to discover when it arrived that it did not ... ByJK on Works ok. Was a replacement for old model and assumed this replacement would take detergent especially as it was an added option on the site. Disappointed to discover when it arrived that it did not take detergent. Learning is not to assume and read specks!

A great floor mop but maybe not so great as a handheld. Dilettante  Having used hand held steam cleaners with mop attachments, I now realise that I was compromising on both fronts. A steam mop this cheap is a great purchase and has cleaned my floors (sealed hardwood, laminated wood and kitchen floor tiles) far better and quicker than anything else I've ever used. The heat-up time is honestly a max 30 seconds, the steam lasts long enough for me to do most the floors in a small terraced house in one go (particularly if you keep on top of things) and the house feels fresher and cleaner as a result. It's worth emphasising that the steam does the cleaning - you don't need extra detergent solutions. But you do need cleaning pads which are cheap to buy and easy to launder. I gave up trying to detach and use the hand held cleaner after using it once. It's not that easy to manoeuvre and difficult to dis- and re-connect. But if what you want is a fast way to clean your floors - this is it.

A good product, well designed and with plenty of attachments ... By CLaughton  A good product, well designed and with plenty of attachments - not easily detached thus the 4 stars. I think the claims made for steam are over exaggerated and it certainly doesn't flush dirt and grease away (as is often seen on TV) it nevertheless does clean the hard floors well and proved invaluable when cleaning out our dishwasher. As grandparents we have have acquired many second hand items and all are blasted and steam cleaned by our device. We've not had any problems with our little one so it must be doing a good job. If removing some of the attachments was as easy as fitting them I'd give it 5 stars. Read more
