This steamer is fantastic!! When I first pulled all of the pieces out of the box I felt a bit intimidated, I thought there must be a lot of assembly to be done. But actually it is ready to go, all of the extra pieces are mostly the attachments. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the directions were very clear and easy to do, within about five minutes I had it completely unpacked, filled with water and ready to clean.

I tried this out on my window sill, they are always so dusty and full of bugs. Previously to clean them I've used a wet rag to try and wipe it all out. It takes forever and doesn't really get very clean. I was picturing this steam to be something like a clothing steamer, just a gentle poof of steam. Not at all the case. This is a forceful stream of steam. After blasting the window sill with the steam there was no need to scrub, I just had to wipe off the wetness and it was clean.

I am most excited to try out the squeegee-type window attachment to clean the outsides of my windows! I have no doubt that I will definitely be using this steamer a lot in the future for cleaning. I can tell already that it's going to make my life a lot easier!

This a fantastic value steam cleaner and I find it performs just as well as a well known brand handheld steam cleaner that I also own.
I paid £42.00 for my previous steam cleaner and it's been worth every penny as it's a great little machine, but quite honestly when I compare the two there is very little difference..
I needed a second cleaner as we now have a family holiday home and I wanted a second one to take and leave there for myself and the family to use.
This Ovation cleaner has been surprisingly effective and a pleasure to use.I really didn't expect too much for such a low price and thought it wouldn't have the same pressure of steam or that it would take longer to heat,however I was pleasantly surprised to find it is just as quick (if not slightly quicker)to heat and It seems just as powerful.
I've been using steam cleaners for years and obviously these handheld models are not as powerful as the full size Polti that I have also owned but for general cleaning jobs around the house they are really handy and you can save a lot of money in cleaning products as well.

This steam cleaner has so far stood up to all the cleaning tasks I have used it for. I have cleaned kitchen surfaces and the inside and outside of cupboards, toilets and basins, and a bathroom floor, and a very dirty gas cooker hob. The jet nozel on this cleaner angles and tilts enabling you to direct the steam into the crevices of the hob and this I found particularly useful as my other cleaner doesn't have a tilting jet nozzle. I also cleaned the patio furniture,and BBQ and cleaned all the upvc frames,door and windows of the holiday home. It's also great for steaming your fabrics as I freshened up the curtains and sofas and chair seat pads. Great in a holiday home to steam out the creases of the unpacked clothes too.
So many ways to use with each of the attachments supplied and very clear and well laid out instructions make choosing the correct tool easy.
I just keep the cleaner with an extension lead (the 2.85m power cord is very generous, but at times I find necessary to use one) and a pack of kitchen rolls( for drying your surfaces to a beautiful shine) all together and its really all thats needed for easy and hygenic results with minimal effort.

I would say this cleaner performs just as well as the way more expensive well known brand model, however as to be expected, the build quality is slightly inferior, although not markedly so.
I would say it's negative points are the indicator light is slighty dim so can be difficult to see in bright light. I didn't really have too much of a problem with this but it's worth pointing out.
Also the steam release button is slightly awkward to use as it has a safety switch that has to be held in to operate. I liked the idea of this feature as again it's something the other cleaner doesn't have but it did take a bit of getting used to and it did catch the skin of my thumb at times.
Not a major problem and at least it does have this safety feature which I really think is needed on these devices.

Overall this is a great handheld cleaner and amazing value for money.
I could of brought 3 of these for the price paid for my other model. It's not a bad looking little cleaner and its and very comfy to hold and like I've said before, it performs well. With a 3 year guarantee to back it up and every attatchment you need to clean at a temperature of 105 degrees, I can't see why anyone would want to pay more.
I'm very happy with my purchase and would recommend.

Arrived in a branded box. The steamer unit, measuring jug, small funnel, extention hose, glass cleaning head, brush tool, curved nozzle tool, jet nozzle and a wide steaming tool. Unit takes 225ml of water which you pour into the top cap using the funnel. Adding attachments is simple, push on and twist to click into place. The brush tool and curved nozzle tool require the jet nozzle to be fitted first then either of those tools for that. I found the brush tool great on stubborn cooker stains and the curved tool for really tricky to get places. Jet tool alone gives out a decent jet of steam for precise area cleaning. The wide steamer tool ( 130 mm ) has a cloth cap the fits over it to capture any dirt, very handy for cleaning areas of carpets,floors sofas etc even removing the creases from clothes. Glass cleaning tool ( 200mm ) fits onto the wide steamer head and enables you to clean mirrors, showers even windows. All in all a very versatile steam unit for the price and has many many uses. Operation is by a trigger on the handle which has a safety button you have push forward first, a little tricky to get right at the beginning but practice certainly makes it easier.
