This multifunction steam cleaner is light and easy to handle.
It produces steam for about fifteen minutes which can be used through a variety of changeable outlets to that you can clean in various ways with it.
It can be used as a mop - it has a removable microfibres pad which is washable. It can also be used to steam carpets. It has a variety of smaller nozzles and cleaning heads so you can do upholstery, grouting, windows, even barbecue grills.

A major advantage is that you can clean without using cleaning chemicals.

I found it was easy to set up and use and worked effectively.

Versatile cleaner.

A really well designed steam mop and multifunction device, we've been using this on our wood floor, and it seems to work wonders. We have 3 small children who do all sorts of unmentionable stuff all over our home, and once this has been round the floors, they come up really shiny, even after a day of mayhem.

It's extremely easy to fill (unlike the other steam cleaner I tried), and the mop heads fit on really easily (you just pop one on the floor and plonk the mop on top of it, sticks like glue. It takes about 30 seconds from switching on to steaming, and is fairly easy to push round. The cable gets in the way slightly but overall, it's easy to use.

There are also several other attachments for various functions, all of which work fairly well. You can take off the long handle and mop part, leaving just the reservoir in the middle, which has a handle, then attach the hose, or just an attachment if preferred, and go. Versatile!

Overall, it's handy and easy to use, and has made our cleaning up routine a fair bit easier. Highly recommended, especially at this price point.

Powerful, multi-functional and compact.

The Dirt Devil steam cleaner is an excellent addition to any home, and a multi-functional appliance.

One positive of this steam cleaner ia that the pad is very easy to take on and off, so you can pop this in the wash every time you use the cleaner if you wish and there is a second one you can use in the meantime. This makes it great for big jobs too, as once one is too dirty you can just switch it over. There is also an included carpet gripper, which you can put on over the pad, to mean you can steam your carpets as well as your tiled/ vinyl type floors. The only surface I wouldn't use mine on is my real wood flooring, as it can open up the wood and ingrain dirt.

The water tank is removable and you can use this steam cleaner as a hand held device as well as on flooring, with use of the extension hose included. There are attachments which make it suitable for use on upholstery, grouting, windows and a concentration nozzle for spot cleaning.

This steam cleaner comes apart very easily, so it can be stored away in a small space or cupboard. For a compact device, the water tank on this is a great size though. You can fill this by twisting and pulling off the cap, and then using the included small measuring jug.

There is the option to intensify the steam when this is in use, so it can be made more powerful for extra dirty spots, such as stuck on debri. This is a really handy feature and one which I haven't seen on any other cleaner (I usually use a Vax).

There are a couple of slight negatives in this product: one is that the lower foot release button is quite far back, so is a little tricky to release. Another is that the grout brush included is very stiff, and so I wouldn't recommend it for use on grout paint, as it may flake it away. The window squeegee is also quite small, and so windows are a time consuming task, but this is perhaps due to the small size of the cleaner itself. It certainly works as well as you could wish it too, and so is not a big problem.

Overall I am extremely pleased with this appliance. It does all of the same jobs as steam cleaners which are far pricier, and has the advantage of being able to function in many different ways and do a lot of different tasks around the house. It certainly speeds up jobs which would require a lot more muscle otherwise and after you are done stores away in a really compact fashion. I would definitely recommend this.
