A great product!

I chose this product because of the sleek design, it looks much
nicer than other steamers on the market. It is easy to use and works
really well on my polyester and chiffon shirts, I can steam 2 lightly
creased shirts on 1 fill. Heavily creased shirts take a little longer
but it still does a good job. It has already saved me a huge amount of
time in the mornings and i'll definitely be recommending the product to
friends.

I received this unit from the manufacturer in exchange for an honest review.
We travel a lot on business and so living out of a suitcase can have its disadvantages, mainly creased clothes. This small unit can fit in a suitcase and is ideal at reinvigorating clothes. You simply fill with water, hang the item up and glide the unit over the item and the creases fade away. On thick cotton shirts, you will need to pull the garment whilst gliding the iron up and down, but eventually the creases do get removed. It is very easy to use, comes with good instructions, overall it is a very good product.
For the price and given the quality of the unit, I am happy to Highly Recommend this item.

** Please note: I was kindly sent a sample of this product to test and to give my honest opinion in the form of a review **
During the last 30 years I have had quite a few garment steamers, many of them being heavy and awkward to use and to be honest most of them failed to remove enough creases to replace my iron and ironing board. However I have not used a garment steamer within the last ten years and I realise that steamers may have improved since then which is the reason I agreed to review this portable fabric steamer from Salav.
A fabric steamer should be a time saving device that steams creases out of fabric and due to the temperature of the steam can also remove some stains, odours and germs. A steamer can be used on a variety of items including clothing, bedding, table cloths, curtains, chair covers, suits & jackets, car seat covers and many more.
This steamer from Salav arrives well packed inside a heavy duty white cardboard box and in the box are:
The steamer with an attached power lead and plug
Brush
Instructions
The steamer in made in good quality white and dark blue plastic with white fairly hard nylon bristles. This device can be used with or without the brush. This steamer measures 28cm in length x 11.6cm in width (at its widest) x 9cm in depth. Looking somewhat like a hand held vacuum, the handle feels solid and comfortable in the hand. This machine comes with its own attached power cord with a three pin plug. There is also a viewing window on the underneath of the steamer so that you can check the water level and refill when necessary.
This steamer is very easy to use following these steps:
1. Unplug the machine and remove the water chamber by pushing down on the ridged area.
2. Fill the chamber with cold water and replace.
3. Decide whether you want to use the brush attachment or not. If you do this is very easy to attach by lining up the pegs on the brush to the holes on the steamer and clicking into place.
4. Plug in the unit and turn on.
5. Wait for about forty seconds
6. Once the steam is being produced, the steamer is ready for use.
The great thing about this steamer is that you can steam garments whilst they are still on their hanger and curtains whilst they are hanging at your window.
So I did I fair with this steamer?
To be honest ... pretty good.
This steamer is lighter than the garment steamers of the past, also the steam comes out cleaner and without the excessive drips of water that I always seemed to get from the older types of steamer.
I have been thoroughly enjoying myself using this steamer on all manner of fabrics.
• I have steamed my husband's suit jacket ... while he was wearing it (not to be advised)
• I have steamed all of our boys shirts for school.
• I have steamed some really wrinkly pure Egyptian cotton pillow cases.
• I have steamed our son's car seat covers
• And finally I have steamed our thick brocade lounge curtains
The result? Absolutely brilliant, every single item had most of their wrinkles and creases removed, with no damage to the fabrics nor burns to my hands. Even the incredibly wrinkly cotton pillow cases creases were removed (although I did have to go over them a few times).
I am really happy that I accepted this steamer for reviewing as I am now a converted hand steamer user. It is quicker, easier and ultimately more successful than my current iron.
